Don’t kill PowerPoint, I like it…
For the right purpose that is. And broad change communication is typically not a good place to use long presentations.
One approach is videos that can go viral on internal media channels, high energy ones. We got a few teasers at #acmpconnect from Robin Alex and Harry Shah – turning those 20 page PowerPoints into playbooks, then 1-page infographics, and upbeat videos.
One of the secrets is to re-use content throughout, so you don’t have to create from scratch repeatedly. And when it is for an internal audience it of course has to look professional, but maybe not as shiny and gold-plated as for external use.
Put your creativity to use, there are other means than emails and townhalls (and posters in the washroom…) 😀💌
